added 2026-10-01can overwrite data

Answer an invitation addressed to you (ids from list_invitations): accept=true joins the project with the invited role, accept=false declines it. Either way the invitation is used up, so there is no undo: a declined one has to be sent again by the project owner. Needs the separate mcp:account scope (OAuth grant only, off by default; mcp:write does not include it).

  • acceptbooleanrequired
true to join, false to decline
  • idstringrequired
    Invitation id from list_invitations

Returns

  • acceptedbooleanrequired
  • idstring (uuid)required
  • projectstringrequired
Project key, or "the project" when it could not be read
  • 2026-10-04 — Accepting into a project that is full for its owner's plan refuses with code plan_limit_reached and details {limit: project_members, plan, subject: project_owner} (the owner's numbers are left out); declining always works.
  • 2026-10-03 — Also answers structuredContent (see outputSchema); a failed call adds structuredContent.error. Text unchanged. Details: /docs/mcp, "Structured results and errors".
  • 2026-10-04 — Claude Code 2.1.288+ (clientInfo claude-code): the text of a successful answer is itself up to 512 bytes, else "Result in structuredContent (N bytes)."; structuredContent and errors are unchanged. See /docs/mcp.
