check_criteria — MCP tool

Tick or untick items of an issue's acceptance criteria / definition of done (needs edit access). check and uncheck take item ids (from get_issue_details or set_criteria); an item already in the requested state is skipped, so a retry is safe. A project can hold the move to done back while items are open (done_gate): tick them here first, or confirm them with confirm_open_criteria on update_issue_status. The answer is the current checklists.

2026-10-03 — New write tool: check and uncheck AC / DoD items by id; idempotent (an item already in the requested state is not a conflict).
2026-10-04 — Claude Code 2.1.288+ (clientInfo claude-code): the text of a successful answer is itself up to 512 bytes, else "Result in structuredContent (N bytes)."; structuredContent and errors are unchanged. See /docs/mcp.
