Keep useful information beside the work#
Pages are documents inside a project. Use them for a launch plan, a client brief or instructions your team needs more than once.
For example, a small website team can keep its launch checklist in a page and use cards for the individual jobs.
Create and organize a page#
- Open your project and choose Pages.
- Click New page. In an empty project, you can also click Create the first page.
- Replace Untitled with a useful title. Press Enter or leave the title field to save the name.
- Write in the page body, then click Save. You can also press Ctrl+S on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+S on macOS, while editing. Use Discard to drop edits you have not saved.
- To split a long document into smaller parts, open it and click New subpage. The new document appears under it in the page list.
- Select another page in the list to open it. On a phone, use the Pages button to open the list.
- Click History to see saved versions. Open a version to inspect what changed.
Tips and common mistakes#
- Give each page a title that explains when someone should read it.
- Use subpages for sections that need their own link or discussion.
- Deleting a parent page also deletes the pages below it. The confirmation explains this. Use Undo immediately if you made a mistake.
- Editors and the owner can write pages. Viewers can read them.
