Make Sprintree fit your day#

Your account Settings control how Sprintree looks and how it opens work for you. Project settings control one project's shared setup.

If you prefer to plan in a list, choose List as your default project view. If your team works across time zones, choose date and time settings you can read comfortably.

Change your preferences#

  1. Open account Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Under Preferences, select General.
  3. Choose your Default project view: Board, List, Hierarchy or Topology. Your choice saves when selected.

This preference applies when you open projects from the sidebar, project list, search or Home. A link directly to /p/KEY still opens the Board.

  1. Select Appearance and choose Light, Dark or System. System follows your device's appearance.
  2. Select Date & time to choose time format, date format and which day starts your week.

Other useful settings#

  • Profile changes how you appear to teammates.
  • E-mail controls optional email notifications and the digest time zone.
  • Sign-in & security contains connected sign-in accounts and Sign out everywhere.
  • API & MCP manages personal access tokens and connected apps.
  • Show Get started again in General restores unfinished or skipped onboarding steps on Home.

How do I export my data?#

You can download a copy of your data as one file, in JSON or in Markdown. Markdown is plain text, so you can open it in any text editor. The file holds your profile and preferences, your linked sign-ins, the projects you belong to, the cards and pages you created and the comments you wrote. For files you uploaded it lists the names and details, not the files themselves. Cards, pages and comments written by other people are not included. Only projects you can still open are included, and deleted cards, pages and comments are left out.

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Select Danger zone.
  3. Under Export your data, press Export as JSON or Export as Markdown.
  4. Your browser downloads the file.

You can export up to 5 times an hour. Export works from the signed-in web app only, not with an access token.

Tips and common mistakes#

  • Check whether you opened account Settings or a project's Settings before changing something.
  • Signing out everywhere ends browser sessions. Tokens and connected apps keep working unless you choose to revoke them too.
  • Most preferences save as you select them. Profile fields have their own save action.
